Hello, I'm Aya, the creator of The Aurum Collective Co.

The Aurum Collective was created from a desire to explore the connections between creativity, culture, beauty, and human experience.

​

Throughout my life, I have been drawn to the ways people express themselves, connect with one another, and find meaning in the world around them. Whether through music, storytelling, design, cultural exploration, or creative craftsmanship, I believe that the things we create have the power to inspire, restore, and bring people together.

​

I am a trained performer and musician, a sound therapy practitioner, an instructional designer, and a lifelong student of Japanese language and culture. My work has always existed at the intersection of creativity and curiosity, exploring how ideas, traditions, and artistic expressions shape the way we understand ourselves and each other.

The Aurum Collective was also born from a dream I shared with someone very dear to me: my grandmother. Over the years, we talked about building something together. Something meaningful that reflected creativity, care, and purpose. She passed before we could bring that dream to life, but this collective is my way of honoring her memory and continuing that vision.

"Aurum" is the Latin word for gold. In ancient alchemy, gold represented transformation, radiance, and the highest expression of refinement. It is also connected to the word "aura", the energy and presence we carry within us.

The Aurum Collective was built on that same belief: that every person, every story, and every creative expression holds something valuable worth discovering.

Through our projects, we explore different forms of creativity and connection, from beauty and self-care, to music and sound, to cultural storytelling and discovery. Each project is part of a larger vision: creating meaningful experiences that encourage curiosity, reflection, and connection.
